Business Intelligence Programmer /Analyst - Goldsboro, NC

Candidate will design, develop, implement, and, document, information technology projects, of increased complexity, which are aligned with company and IS goals. This would include providing input into cost/benefit analysis. Perform analysis, design, and programming; revise and maintain existing applications; perform system management and operations and other related work as required. Analyze requirements for developing various business intelligence analysis views and cubes using the Cognos BI software environment and other high level languages. Designs and codes new, or revises existing systems. The incumbent prepares operation instructions, program and usage documentation. He/She consults with other departments regarding objectives, requirements and effectiveness of proposed and existing applications, as well as provides technical expertise to departmental staff.

Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred; 5 years programming experience supporting business applications; 3 years of hands on experience with Cognos 8 Business Intelligence systems; AS/400 DB2 and MS SQL databases.
